Out of This World! Omni hosts a very special guest!

On a recent Omni Air International flight, operated by talented Captain Tillford Berkeley, First Officer Artem Buhalov and First Officer Rachel Ahlborn Schubbe, the skies weren’t the only thing soaring - so were our spirits! With Purser Matthew Rabin keeping everything on board as polished and professional as ever, the crew found themselves in the presence of aviation ‘royalty’.

Among the passengers during these missions was none other than Brigadier General Raja Chari, a real-life NASA astronaut and American test pilot! Yes, you read that right! A real space traveler was cruising with Omni, making the flight feel a little more like Star Trek! General Chari, who’s flown over 2,000 hours and holds degrees from the United States Air Force Academy, MIT, and the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, was as humble as he was inspiring.

In a heartwarming moment that the crew will never forget, General Chari presented the team with a signed photo as a token of appreciation—something that will undoubtedly become a cherished keepsake in Omni history. From the flight deck to the cabin, it was an unforgettable journey made even more special by a guest who had literally reached for the stars.
